DONATIONS 2012

Cash For Kids

A huge thank you to everyone who supported Clive's Cumbrian Way and Cash for Kids in 2012. Here is how the £9,600 we raised this year made a difference to some young lives.

Megan White - suffers from Cerebral Palsy/Spastic Diplegia, and needs treatment in America - she received £4,000 towards her treatment costs.

Katy - is severely disabled and lost everything in her bedroom in the floods in West Cumbria this year and we did an emergency grant worth £1000 to replace her clothes, toys, books and furniture. Her mum received this 24 hours after the flood to help immediately.

Eme Elle – is severely disabled and all she wanted to do was be part of her school sports day. You bought her a specialist trike which allowed her to take part in her school sports day for the first time.

Rebecca – In Dec 2011 Rebecca was diagnosed with a high grade Brain tumour and has had surgery and radiotherapy. She has also just started a course of Chemotherapy as her blood count is down. She spends many hours in her bedroom and you enabled her to have a bedroom makeover worth £2,000.

Workington Junior Football club and Upperby Under 9's FC - needed training kit to allow them to train in all weathers, and you helped Cash for Kids provide the kit.

Thank you once again for your support, the Cash for Kids thank you certificate can be viewed here.
